Dear Nonnie Friend,

I first wrote today's post for subscribers of my old mailing list, mostly teachers, mostly in rural Georgia, on February 11, 2021. That was just two months before I unleashed Non-Boring History onto an unprepared world.

The post is about Hamilton, the musical based very loosely on the life of Alexander Hamilton (George Washington's protege/US Constitution enthusiast/bloke in photo above). It’s also my first reflections on what was happening in the US three years ago.
