Registration and Zoom Info for Saturday, Nov. 18 (times below) BLITZED: How WWII Bombings Affected Brits
ONLINE TALK: The Blitz, a massive air attack on British cities, and especially London, began in October, 1940, and continued into May, 1941. What’s come down to us is images of people singing in the air raid shelters, defying Hitler to do his worst. But what did it really mean to the people who experienced it? And how is it remembered today?
Bring coffee, dress comfortably, no need to fight the freeway! Saturday, November 18, at 2 p.m. Eastern, 1 pm Central, 11 a.m. Pacific, and 7pm GMT. About an hour, including questions.
